Anglers with families were the inspiration for the new Crevalle 26 Bay.
It comes ready for big water with integrated trim tabs, a larger console, a fuel capacity of 83 gallons and a 300 maximum-horsepower capacity. Crevalle’s Storm Grey helm face reduces secondary glare and fatigue. The console also features integrated footrests and room for a 12-inch display. The standard 6-inch engine jack plate is combined with a notched transom that provides sufficient cooling water for the engine to be run with the jack plate fully raised.
For the fisherman, the 26 Bay has two 28-gallon release wells aft and a forward baitwell inspired by saltwater aquarium systems and lockable storage for 10 rods; a leaning post with backrest, rod holders and rigging tray; and in-floor storage.
Crevalle boasts features such as second-generation position-control hatch hinges to eliminate clumsy supports. Hatches are finished on both sides, by the way.
Confidence in wood-free hull and deck construction is reflected in a transferable 10-year hull warranty. Vinyls use Syntec Nano-Block Technology (NBT) anti-microbial formulas to limit pinking and mildew growth. Electrical systems feature tinned-copper wires — whose functions are helpfully printed on them every 12 inches! — and sealed connectors, even on bus bars. The boat’s Marelon composite seacocks are corrosion- and electrolysis-free.
Crevalles are made in Wildwood, Florida and tested regularly in nearly every kind of water known to man: rivers, springs, lakes, inshore and deep, offshore waters.
