With 60 years of experience, Wellcraft knows that different waters and different activities call for different boats, each one matched to the needs of its owner.

That’s why they’ve developed strong lines — Fisherman, Scarab Offshore, Sportsman and Coastal — from 18 feet to nearly double that, from all-business fishing boats to luxurious ones.

Among survey respondents’ higher ratings for Wellcraft was price; people think the boats are solid buys, and they back it with high marks in construction and brand reputation, too.

Hardcore anglers love to launch a Wellcraft Fisherman, a series of center-console boats with big baitwells and fish boxes, plentiful seating, sensible and secure rod storage and more, all in a stable, smooth-performing boat.

For family time, there’s Wellcraft’s Sportsman Series of bowrider boats, a pair of designs that seamlessly blend fishing functionality and the amenities friends and family love for watersports and cruising, in addition to fishing.

The Wellcraft Coastal series offers luxurious family boats at home in big freshwater lakes or offshore in the salt. The back half’s all fishing, while forward are head, galley, and the other comforts that make memory-making a breeze.

Wellcraft’s premium Scarab Offshore Series offers deep-V hulls in tournament-class center-console fishing boats.

241 FISHERMAN

Wellcraft designed this center-console bay boat (and a 22-foot companion) from the ground up, creating new hull, deck and console designs to produce a stable, dry-riding boat with lots of fishability.

The 241 Bay aims to welcome those scaling back from bigger boats, people looking for something towable with a half-ton pickup but unwilling to trim the fishing fun. It’s also perfect for those ready to move up to a center-console at home in shallow water but game for bluewater adventure on the right days.

Two huge livewells in back and a crustacean well up front are big enough to serve as release wells at tournament time, too. Spacious decks fish four anglers comfortably.

The large console easily accommodates the optional head accessed via its front opening hatch. Rod holders in the console line up with grommets in the optional hardtop to accommodate rod tips. Tip-friendly, too, are rod-storage tubes within the foredeck storage compartments. There’s also gunwale rod storage to keep some sticks at the ready.

The wide dash welcomes a pair of 12-inch or larger displays, and the black surface cuts light reflection to make electronics easier to read.

Add your own design touches if you like: a factory-installed jack plate or a Power-Pole anchor system is available for even more shallow-water flexibility.
